That Voice

So on Monday night I installed Just Cause, the first one, then next thing I knew I was diving out of a plane when a man’s voice came started talking to me via my headset. And I couldn’t believe who it was… It was Sully from the Uncharted games. Now if you don’t know, I LOVE the Uncharted games. I love them so much that I once tried to eat one of the disc’s so that I could be 0.5% Uncharted. Needless to say I obviously love Sully. So Just Cause already got a gold star in my book. It feels like an open world Uncharted game. Though it does lag at sometimes, which leads me to my next point…

Those Damn Boxes

On the back of every PC game box/cover is the minimum requirements that your computer needs to run the game. But here’s the problem… it’s the requirements needed to run the game, not to play the game smoothly (with no lag) I don’t have the most powerful rig, but it’s pretty good. But Just Cause lags. So here’s the system requirements.

  • CPU: 1.4 GHz
  • RAM: 512
  • Graphics: 64 MB
  • DirectX: 9.0c
  • Hard Disk: 7.4GB
  • DVD-ROM: 4 speed

Now here’s my PC

  • CPU: 3.4 GHz
  • RAM: 2GB
  • Graphics: 256
  • DirectX: 11
  • Hard Disk: Enough space
  • DVD-ROM: 16 I think.

Yet it lags, so on Tuesday I tried to figure out the problem, and I think I found it. My DirectX is to new. So I installed it to a flash drive and it plays better, for some reason. But that’s the problem,  the box never tells you what is needed to play with no lag. But it’s a small price to pay considering the PC  game’s are about $20’s cheaper.
